Words on Wolves is the passion project of Elizabeth Marshall, author of Wolf Land: The Lost Wolves of Landscape and Lore.
About
Elizabeth began her career at the University of St Andrews, where she studied the representation of wolves in Old English literature. In 2018, she carried out a doctoral internship at the Scottish Deer Centre in Cupar, Fife, where she completed a project titled An examination of public attitudes to wolves, and methods for improving perceptions.
Elizabeth’s first book, Wolves in Beowulf and Other Old English Texts, was published by Boydell and Brewer in July 2022.
She also appears in the documentary film In the Company of Wolves: An American Journey, directed by Susan Kucera and narrated by Jeff Bridges.
